Henry's Page

Hamilton's Henry Backs the Pack is his official name. We call him Henry. As of January 2013, he has no middle name yet. However, some in the household call him Henry Ross, to match with Sydney Rose.

Henry was born in Florida. We were all so excited to meet our 9 week old boy at the airport when he flew in. When we first saw him, our first impression was that he was adorable and big! We opened his cage and put our hands in to pet him. He licked all of us! His humongous paws were so big that we were certain he would be a big boy when he got older. To give you an idea of how big he is now, he is about two inches taller than our female Doberman, Sydney!

Our big boy is a wonderful dog. Even though he is not a puppy anymore, he is still so cute! He has a big head, huge paws, and a long belly. Even so, he is one of the most adorable dogs we have ever seen! He is great with the kids and likes to play with Sydney, his older "sister." My 15-year-old daughter, almost hourly it seems, proclaims Henry her best friend. She hugs and kisses him, and he eagerly returns her affection.
